Mercedes Upgrade its E-Class lineup with Enhanced Technology and Styling
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated E-Class range, which feature new styling elements, upgraded technology, and improved powertrains. The range includes the Saloon, Estate, Coupé, and Cabriolet models.
The new E Classes come with Mercedes' new MBUX Superscreen infotainment system that allows passengers to watch movies, scroll through TikTok and even make and Zoom or Teams calls. It even has a built-in webcam.
In addition to the MBUX Superscreen, the E-Class range also features other updated technology. The car now has an enhanced voice assistant, and a new steering wheel, featuring touch controls for various functions.
The New E Class can be unlocked and started with a phone, and Mercedes has allowed this Digital Key to be shared with up to 16 people and can be valid for specific times.
Under the bonnet, the E-Class will be available with a range of petrol, diesel, and hybrid powertrains. The entry-level E 200 features a 2.0-litre petrol engine with 194bhp, while the E 220d gets a 2.0-litre diesel with 191bhp. The E 350e plug-in hybrid combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to produce 315bhp.
The New E Class models are expected to cost around £50,000 for the entry-level model, and will be available in the summer of 2023, though exact dates are yet to be revealed.
