Lotus releases new photos & spec details for its upcoming Eletre Hyper-SUVs

Lotus revealed the full details of its fully electric SUV, Eletre coming in 2023

Models

The Eletre will come in three models: Eletre, Eletre S and Eletre R.

Eletre & Eletre S

The entry level Eletre and S models will output 593bhp and 710Nm of torque, with a range of up to 373 miles on a full charge. Both models will do 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds.

The differences between the standard Eletre and the S are with the extras. With the S model, you'll have the choice of several colours of brake callipers, a 2160w KEF Reference Audio system with 23 speakers rather than the 1380w KEF Premium Audio system with 15 speakers you get with the standard Eletre, soft door close, configurable ambient lighting for the interior, and roof rails.

Eletre R

Lotus says the "Eletre R model is the world’s fastest dual-motor pure electric SUV, with a top speed of 165 mph (265 km/h) and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.95 seconds".

The entry model Eletre features:

  • Four zone climate control
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Heated steering wheel
  • 5 seat configuration (40/20/40 folding rear seats)
