Lamborghini's first EV will be a sports car with enough room for four adults

It's due for a 2028 release and may have a range of more than 300 miles!

Lamborghini's first electric vehicle will be a four-seater sports car. The CEO of  the Italian luxury performance car manufacturer, Stephen Winkelman has said that its first electric car, set to be released in 2028 will be a grand tourer with a 2+2 seating arrangement, meaning that two adults can sit in the back.

Federico Foschini, Lamborghini's chief marketing and sales officer told Motor Authority that the rear seats will be comfortable and not just for show like they are with most sports cars. This suggests that Lamborghini is attempting to bridge the gap between its family-oriented Urus SUV and two-seater sports cars such as its Revuelto.

Lamborghini hasn't revealed any images or technical specifications or even a name for its electric car, however it has stated that the car will be a fourth model in its line up, rather than an iteration of an existing model such as the Huracán or Urus, and that Lamborghini's development team is aiming to create a ca with a range of over 300 miles on a charge.
