A classic Jaguar seen in Only Fools and Horses is currently on auction at Hampson Auctions in North Wales, with a guide price of between £140,000 and £160,000.

In the episode titled, "Go West Young Man", Boycie, played by the late john Challis lent his 1973 Series 3 Jaguar E-Type to David Jason's Del Boy and his brother, Rodney, played by Nicholas Lyndhurst, who took it to London's West End for a night out. The E-Type was rear-ended by a car with dodgy brakes that Del Boy had sold earlier that episode.

The whole thing was staged of course, and the real Jaguar E-Type remained undamaged and had been looked after by only two owners since it was first registered in 1973.

The classic car comes with Only Fools and Horses memorabilia, including photographs and a model of the car signed by Sir David Jason, who played Del Boy - and John Challis (Boycie).
